Jan Blokhuijsen On 125mm Wheels
Jan Blokhuijsen of Powerslide Racing talks about his first experience on the 125mm wheels. He talks about being surprised at how quickly he as able to adapt to the bigger wheel, how rapidly his lap times decreased, and his abilty to easily pull away from skaters on smaller wheels.
Jan Blokhuijsen is Dutch long track speed skater that competed in 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and won a silver medal in the 5000 meter competition. He currently holds the world record in the team pursuit discipline along with teammates Sven Kramer and Koen Verweij. He has won several Dutch and European inline titles at the junior categories and a second place at the world championships in Korea before deciding to focus on ice speed skating.
